Trigonodes hyppasia, common name of Triangles, in reference to the adult moth forewings that are brown and each have two dark triangles outlined in white. The hindwings are brown and the moth’s wingspan is about 30-46 mm. Also known as a semi-looper, Trigonodes hyppasia belong to the family Erebidae.
Some online information shows Trigonodes hyppasia and Trigonodes exportata (the latter beings a junior synonym of Trigonodes hyppasia).1
