The species Isopedella leai spider is part of the Australian Huntsman Spiders group belonging to the family Sparassidae. They are usually a light brown in colour with banding on the legs and has a spotted abdomen. In the images presented in Atlas of Living Australia, there does seem to be some variation from the light brown to dark brown forms of Isopedella leai.
Commonly known as the Cinnamon Huntsman, it is a medium sized species of huntsman that can often be found in eucalypt forests, especially around Adelaide region of South Australia.
