The species Delena cancerides, family Sparassidae (from the huntsman group of spiders), common names include the Communal Huntsman, Flat Huntsman and Social Huntsman. It is a fairly large, brown huntsman spider that is native to Australia.
Pictured here in the Belair National Park in Adelaide Hills of South Australia, is a juvenile Delena cancerides.
