You can sometimes see “red” in the most surprising places… from the eyes of the Golden-browed Resin Bee, to the butt end of the Red and Blue Beetle. There is also the aptly named Redback Spider and the Red-headed Mouse Spider (both being venomous).




Then there is the Red Jewel Bug, Red Spiny Assassin Bug, Red-blue Banded Leaf Beetle, Red Triangle Slug and the Red and Black Spider.





Not to overlook our red ants…
