Saccharodite chrysonoe, commonly known as the Derbid Planthopper, is one of the many species of Australian Fulgoromorpha found in Australia. Belonging to the infraorder Fulgoromorpha, in the suborder Auchenorrhyncha, this group of insects have over 12,500 described species worldwide.
