The tea cosy was knitted using Chunky Texas acrylic yarn.
It was then shaped and embellished with recycled items such as pearls, lace and a figurine. Pearl Star with Quote.

Reaching for the stars and following your dreams is a lifelong journey.
It is when I am relaxing and drinking tea I am able to dream about my future
goals and implement plans so that I too can “fly, fly, fly”.

Initially my inspiration to participate in this year’s beanie festival came from my sister
and my daughter. At first, I was hesitant of the challenge but with their encouragement I was able to begin my creation.
