Leucauge dromedaria, commonly known as the Horizontal Orbweb Spider, Silver Orb Spider and Humped Silver Orb Spider, is usually found hanging from near horizontal to horizontal webs, underneath the web. One of the long-jawed orb weaver spiders, they are a medium to large sized orb weaving spider. The female spider have a body length of 15 mm, the male being smaller to 6 mm.

The spider is often seen resting in the centre and underneath their web, with its underside facing upwards and head looking towards the ground.

They feed on a variety of insects, including moths, beetles, flies and other bugs.
