The Banded Garden Spider (Argiope trifasciata) are sometimes seen in the park (under the right conditions). Their web can sometimes be seen strung across the tall spinifex grass, with the spider sitting in the middle of their web

After weeks of variable rain in Central Australia, their was a proliferation of spiders including the following Banded Garden Spider. A walk through the park you could see the webs strung across the blades of spinifex grass.
