The Neopasiphae mirabilis male differs to the female in that it can be identified from the swollen yellow scapes (see our Bees Antenna for information on the parts of the bee antenna).

In the following photograph, the female Neopasiphae mirabilis does not have the swollen yellow scapes found on the male of the species.
