Neopasiphae mirabilis are a solitary Burrowing Bee endemic to Western Australia.
Following series of images are of the Neopasiphae mirabilis male on paper daisy at Coalseam National Park, WA. These guys were settling down to camp overnight just waiting for the flower to close up. We (Bernhard and I) took heaps of photos because they were happy to pose and are sooo photogenic.
Flower petals starting to close up.
Interesting swollen basitarsus white in colour and with long hair on the top edge.
