Conostylis argentea, known as Silver conostylis (family Haemodoraceae), is rhizomatous, tufted perennial plant species that is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia.
The flowers are white to cream in colour, occasionally violet to purple flowers are seen, appearing from June to August.
First described in 1961 by John Green as a subspecies, Conostylis androstemma subsp. argentea. In 1987, Stephen Hopper raised it to species status as Conostylis argentea.2
