Looking back through some of my photographs and articles, I realised that Mother Nature plays an important part of what I like to snap, write and share. When I hear through friends that their children are using content from Ausemade for school work, it gives me immense pleasure and the drive to keep going with my website. So following are more of my favourite images… enjoy!
I was exploring Ormiston Gorge and I was down at the bottom at the waterhole, when I happen to look up and see this Black-footed Rock Wallaby, relaxing in the cool shade of a rock alcove. Very slowly I approached to snap this shot, before leaving it in peace.

An early morning visit to the Olive Pink Botanic Garden, we stopped at the cafe and was pleasantly surprised to see this Rock Wallaby at one of the tables.

Following mother with young was at the base of Macdonnell Ranges (Heavitree Gap).
Considered feral animals, it was something special, to see wild horses at Finke Gorge National Park.

This was one of a group of camels that we came across, as they were crossing the Lassetter Highway near Uluru.

It was a thrill to see this adult Perentie on one of our outback drives, south of Alice Springs. It was also great to get photos of the juvenile, although it was at the local reptile centre.

This is a special photo, that I almost missed (if it wasn’tt for my eagle-eyed partner)…

This blog is a work in progress… more to come.
