The sculpture life-sized bust of Australian painter Lloyd Rees is by artist Lawrence Beck. Created with a roughly granulated bronze surface, it is mounted on a tall pedestal made from Nondabyne sandstone, matching the Town Hall and St Andrew’s. The sculpture is located in a small garden area on the northside and outside the Town Hall, on the corner of George and Druitt Streets.
