Alice Springs Beanie Festival
Author Koh Lin ◦
The Alice Springs Beanie Festival is an iconic event in the heart of Australia, showcasing the skills of artisans of all ages and background. With over 6,000 beanies from around Australia and overseas, it is a drawcard event that involves individuals, families and communities.
Of course, everyone can participate, from the creative types to the rest of us, who just like to try on a beanie or two or three or four…
But did you know, as well as attracting those who love birds and bird watching, you can also see wildlife at the festival, from the native, feral, domestic and the fantastical… welcome to the Alice Springs Beanie Festival 2023… enjoy!
