The cuckooshrikes and allies are in the family Campephagidae. They are small to medium-sized passerine birds whose species are found in the subtropical and tropical Africa, Asia and Australasia.
At the time of writing, the family Campephagidae are divided into 11 genera, made up of a total of 93 species that include Cicadabirds (genus Edolisoma), Typical Cuckooshrikes (genus Coracina), Trillers and Allies (genus Lalage).
