Sapphire Coast AntsLeptomyrmex erythrocephalus (Red-headed Spider Ant)
Known as the Red-headed Spider Ant, Leptomyrmex erythrocephalus, found in a variety of habitats, ranging from dry and wet sclerophyll, rainforest and beach scrub. Occuring down the east coast of Australia, from as far north as the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, down through Sydney, Sapphire Coast, Lakes Entrance in New South Wales, Traralgon and region north of Melbourne in Victoria.
