The Green Tree Frog (Ranoidea caerulea, formerly Litoria caerulea) enjoys a variety of habitats, including human dwellings, especially where man-made structures have encroached into their habitats.
The Australian Green Tree Frog are found from the east coast of Australia, up in the top end, parts of Western Australia, and stretching inland to Central Australia, although the green frogs in the arid region of Australia are more likely the Centralian Tree Frog (Ranoidea gilleni). The Aussie green tree frog is a popular Aussie icon, often pictured as a bright green frog with a “happy face”.
