Bradybaena similaris is an invasive land snail, that is native to Southeast Asia, that has been accidentally introduced to countries around the world.

A pulmonate gastropod, terrestrial mollusc in the family Bradybaenidae. ‘Pulmonate’ describes various land, freshwater, and marine snails, that belong to the class Gastropoda (phylum Mollusca) that have lost their ancestral gills, instead breathing by means of lung-like pulmonary cavity.

Commonly known as the Asian Trampsnail (sometimes spelt Asian Tramp Snail), its common name is based on how it has spread around the world, by hitching rides on ships such as freight containers.
