But it’s good to see them again

These gorgeous little unknown (by me, that is😄) Leioproctus are late this year, they’re usually one of the first native bees to emerge in the second week of July. But then, their favourite flowers, the Hakea lissocarpha are flowering later than usual too… Makes me wonder if they’re tuned in to the same “clock”… Temperature? Too much rain, not enough sunshine? Dunno… perhaps it’s pure coincidence and I’m just over-thinking it… 😅 But it’s good to see them again 🙂
