Aleeta curvicosta is the only species in the genus Aleeta. Commonly known as the Floury Baker or Floury Miller, it is one of Australia’s most familiar cicadas. A solitary cicada seen on the eastern coastline, it has a loud call and a distinctive appearance
The Floury Baker is found on a variety of trees, and seem to have a preference for species of paperbark (Melaleuca).
