The Hairy Crab Spider (Sidymella hirsuta), also known as the Crab Spider, is a medium-sized crab spider that is covered in strong bristly hairs. The male and female are similar in shape and appearance, although the female is slightly larger then the male. Whilst the lighter form is more common, the colour of Sidymella hirsuta can range from a light cream and shades of brown to dark brown.
