Queensland is home to a great diversity of insects, and with the growing interest, especially by “citizen scientist”, who have contributed enormously to the understanding of the world around us, it is wonderful to see the many online contributions.

We present here a selection of insects to be found in the diverse habitats of Queensland, Australia. Click through the categories and thumbnail images to go to the related pages. This section is a work in progress, so make sure you check back over time, as we add more observations from Queensland.

Check out some of the Queensland Insect we have listed here, with many more to be added over times.
