Frogs in Alice Springs

Author Koh Lin ◦

Who would have thought that Alice Springs in Central Australia could be home to frogs…

Sometimes I would hear the frogs in the local parks and gardens, and have even been lucky to see them at our home in Alice Springs, and hear them occassionally in our friends garden just on the other side of town. You can also visit our local Alice Springs Reptile Centre and Alice Springs Desert Park to see some of our native frogs.

Of course, it is only when conditions are right, that you will hear and see frogs in Alice Springs, as well as at nearby local sites such as Ilparpa Claypans and Simpsons Gap.
