Painting landscapes (especially of “Country”) was also a passon of Daniel Goodwin. In particular his paintings would depict the regions around Alice Springs (NT), Mount Olgas (NT), Uluru (NT), Emily Gap (NT), Petermann Ranges (SA), Myall Creek (SA), Mount Davy (Mount Davies) (SA), Hartz Range (NT), Docker River Country (NT), Mount Sonder (NT).

He has also done a number of works about the ‘Stolen Generation’.

In the following first set of images, were taken from photographs that Danny carried around with him (of paintings he had painted pre 2007). These photographs were the only records he had of artworks that he had painted from this period period.
