This was the first time I have seen an Excitable delma (Delma tincta), unfortunately it was deceased. I come across it walking home, on the side of the road. At first I thought it was a juvenile snake, but was soon corrected, and told it was a legless lizard.
We were also given a Delma tincta specimen, presented to us in a lovely wooden box by Jan Martin (a wonderful local in Alice Springs), many thanks Jan 😃.
