Commonly known as Squathoppers, pictured here is the nymph stage of the Eurybrachid planthopper (family Eurybrachidae). The appearance of these nymphs help them stay hidden, Being camouflaged, mimicking the foliage, bark and lichens where they are usually found. In the nymph pictured here, you can see the antennae-mimicking filaments on the abdomen.
