Euryglossina hypochroma, commonly known as the Yellow-bellied Baldy, is within the Plasterer Bees group (family Colletidae, subfamily Euryglossinae).
in early autumn I spotted these tiny tiny bees looking for holes in an old hardwood pallet (they were actually being followed around by some Gasteruptiid Wasp (Family Gasteruptiidae) – Bee parasite wasp). I thought the bees were about 2 mm long but when I captured one they were about 4.5 mm. INaturalist has given them the ID as the Yellow-bellied Baldy bee – Euryglossina hypochroma.
