South Australia FaunaSpiders

Among the rich diversity of fauna in South Australia are spiders, order Araneae. The spiders include a collection of commonly named groups such as the Arkys, Huntsman, Crab and Flower Spiders, Orb-weavers and many more.

Check out some of the species presented here and on our Adelaide Hills Spiders, and come back as we add more over time. Many thanks to our contributors for the amazing spiders photos and special thanks from the wonderful author/contributor Marianne Broug.
