In the beginning when internet speed was often referred to as the “world-wide-wait”… and prior to us setting up a Facebook account for AusEmade, we had a simple website header…
Ausemade Facebook – in the beginning header
When internet speed improved and we changed the platform we used for AusEmade, that included a change of style and look to the AusEmade website, it allowed us to present larger images and more photographs per page. We could also use different photographs for the cover image of each page.
Mobile devices and instant access to the internet, has also laid the foundation for social media to real take off. In particular Facebook and Instagram, being very graphic in nature, are voracious in their needs for images…
Ilparpa Claypans – this normally series of dry claypans in Alice Springs fill with water after significant rain.
With a choice of some great photographs from our own media library and from the many contributors, it has allowed us to be bold in the number of photos and selection of different images for the header on each of the pages within the site.
In particular, the AusEmade Facebook page is also great for sharing some of our content, including changing our Facebook header photos.
