Author Koh Lin â—¦ 1981
I met you for a brief moment
when our path’s crossed… a pleasurable repose
and when you passed you left behind
for those who cared
an image, a memory, a part of your time
that ended in yesterday.
What will Babooshka say… now that you’ve gone
and who will talk with J. Lewis
sharing the moment of joy
just lying there dreaming
with a smoke and a cup of coffee
… white with two sugars
and your small guitar, with no string
will lie there unplayed
as you sit sprawled
thinking far away thoughts
and you look out of your eyes
so blue or was it grey or brown
I seem to forget now…
