A small parrot, the Purple-crowned Lorikeet (Parvipsitta porphyrocephala) have an overall green-yellow colouration with distinctive orange and yellow cheek patch and red and yellow patch in front of the eyes and above the bill. The males have a crimson patch under the wings, visible in flight.
