The Long-nosed Dragon (Gowidon longirostris), sometimes spelt as Long-nose Dragon, is a delightful species of lizard that are fairly common throughout the Central Australia region.
A long-limbed reptile, with a long snout (as an adult), with its key features being the long tail, up to 3 times the length of the body. They can vary in colour from greys to reddish brown, a prominent pale dorsolateral stripe, and a pale stripe along the lower jaw.
