The bright colours of the Blistered Pyrgomorph (Monistria pustulifera) are a warning to potential predators, that pyrgomorphs are poisonous to eat.

A flightless grasshopper, the Blistered Pyrgomorph move so little, that their entire life cycle can be completed under a single bush.
