The Crested Pigeon (Ocyphaps lophotes) can sometimes be seen in company of other species of birds, especially when sharing a water hole or water source. Sometimes referred to as a topknot pigeon, the Crested Pigeon are recognised particularly by the thin black crest on top of the head.
