Pemberton - Cities, Towns and Localities
Small town located 343km south of Perth on the South West Highway. Half way between Walpole and the Valley of the Giants.

Timber has always been the mainstay of the area with several timber mills operating at the turn of the century. Milling is still a large part of the economy cutting the famous and massive Karri trees. Tourism and related businesses have boomed in recent years trout and marron farms have sprung up, arts and crafts, wineries, 4WD tours, chalets, bed n breakfasts, abseiling, fishing and much more.

Pemberton Attractions

Bibbulmun Track
• This famous track passes through Pemberton, being a popular walking track for both recreational and long distance walkers. The track starts in the hills suburb of Kalamunda, 20 km east of Perth in the Darling Range and ends at Albany, some 1,000 km.
Pemberton Marron and Wine Festival
• Festival activities include acts, dancing, fishing, marron displays, local art and craft exhibitions, wine tasting and a multitude of fun rides for the children throughout the day. A rock wall will also be available to climb if Pemberton's trees aren't thrilling enough.
