Avon Valley is a charming and picturesque farmland region of rolling hills and
country hospitality, located just an hours drive east of Perth.
The region encompasses Brookton in the south, Beverley, York, Northam, Toodyay,
Goomalling and New Norcia in the far north.
There is plenty to see and do, from the rich heritage found in most of the
towns, the natural attractions as found in the Avon Valley National Park, scenic
drives, festivals and events, spectacular spring wildflowers, and great country
produce and wines. York, as the first inland settlement in WA, is a prime
example of the stored history still evident today. The community of New Norcia
was established by the Benedictine Monks.
