Located only 163 km south west of Perth and 15 km north of
Bunbury, Australind is bordered by
the Collie River and Leschenault Inlet.
First settled in 1841, it still contains
many old historic buildings. Today, the town is expanding having become very
popular for aquatic activities including boating, sailing, windsurfing, fishing,
crabbing and prawning.
