Welcome to accommodation for The Kimberley region in Western Australia. The vast Kimberley region offers a range of accommodation options, some so remote, that you have to be flown in. There are also some great camping options such as that found along the Gibb River Road. For those seeking something different, the spectacular Kimberley region offers an adventure destination of a lifetime. This ancient landscape, of rugged sandstone ranges, gorges, rainforest pockets, rivers, permanent waterfalls and broad tidal flats provide one of those fabulous destinations where visitors can immerse themselves in a landscape of red soil, rocks, gum trees and blue skies.

The major towns in the Kimberley region are Broome, Kununurra, Derby, Halls Creek, Wyndham and Fitzroy Crossing. These towns are important support and service centres for the many smaller communities that surround them. The largest town in the Kimberley is Halls Creek or you can make Derby, 220 km away at the mouth of the Fitzroy River as your base for travelling into the area.

Kimberley Camping & Caravan

The vast Kimberley region offers a number of camping and caravan locations throughout the region, with a number of campgrounds located along the Gibb River Road in Western Australia. For many wanting to camp, there are many more places then the local caravan parks, with bush camping available in many locations throughout the region. Many are known to the locals, but unless you are a local, what is the best way to find out about these places. Scouring the internet is one way, but there are also a number of publications available. • Details: one of the world's unique holiday destinations. A working cattle station with a herd of approximately 5,000 head of crossbred Brahman and Shorthorn cattle, El Questro was developed in 1991 to provide a truly Australian holiday experience.

A million acres in size, El Questro is located on the eastern perimeter of the Kimberley region, and extends for approximately 80 kilometres into the heart of the region.

Voyages El Questro Wilderness Park is open from April to October.
