Queenscliff - Cities, Towns and Localities

Queenscliff Historical Museum, 49 Hesse St, QUEENSCLIFF VIC 3225

Located on the southern shores of Port Phillip, Queenscliff is a seaside historic township with sandy beaches, offering a easy going lifestyle.

‘Queenscliff’ also is seen as ‘Queenscliffe’ - when to use the ‘e’? The  township of Queenscliff is spelt without the ‘e’, but the borough is known as ‘Queenscliffe’.

Queenscliff has 3 lighthouses, whose role was to provide safe navigation through the mouth of Port Phillip Bay and the ‘The Rip’.
