The small village of Princetown is located on the western side of the
Gellibrand River and estuary, part of the
Great Ocean Road and
scenic drive, just 18 km east of Port Campbell.
With the river estuary and wetlands habitat and bound on both side by the Port
Campbell National Park and the Great Otway National Park, the area is a haven
for bird life.
Of course the number one attraction in this part of Victoria
are the 12 Apostles
just 6 km to the west of Princetown. Just past the Twelve Apostles towards Port
Campbell is the
Loch Ard Gorge.
