Myrtleford - Cities, Towns and Localities
Myrtleford is 273 km north-east of Melbourne via the Hume Highway. A pretty town that is laid back, surrounded by beautiful and scenic countryside. It is also a flourishing commercial centre and the hub for the tobacco, hops, timber and viticulture industries.

A bike friendly town, that is centrally located on the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail, which was an old, disused railway line converted into a walking and cycling track. The is also Lake Buffalo, one of Myrtleford’s great assets, a local treasure that is the perfect spot for a day out amongst nature with the options of a lunchtime or evening barbecue, as well as a number of aquatic activities including boating, skiing, fishing, and swimming.

Check out our Myrtleford accommodation. In addition to our listed online travel guide information, contact the local tourism visitor centre for your destination for more attractions, tours, local maps and other information.
