Scottsdale - Cities, Towns and Localities
The town of Scottsdale is located in the north-east region of Tasmania, on the Tasman Highway, just 63 km from Launceston and 22 km south-east of the town of Bridport.

One of the main attractions located at the entrance to the town is the Forest Eco Centre whose focus is forest-based tourism and recreation activities. The Eco Centre also incorporates the Tasmania Visitor Information Network (TVIN) outlet, a cafe and retail outlet that feature distinctive Tasmanian wood design.

The EcoCentre has a distinctive structure, being a building within an external shell, which is able to control its own environment with the aid of air flows and plants and trees that act as bio-mediators to create its own micro-climate.

Check out our listing of Scottsdale accommodation. In addition to our listed online travel guide information, contact the local tourism visitor centre for your destination for more attractions, tours, local maps and other information.
