Willunga - Cities, Towns and Localities
The historic town of Willunga is located within the local government area of the City of Onkaparinga. Nestled into the lower end of the Adelaide Ranges, just west of Port Willunga and Aldinga, Willunga is the second oldest town in South Australia. The Willunga Basin stretches from the hills to the sea.

A great stopover location in the Fleurieu Peninsula with a great selection of bed and breakfast style accommodation, Willunga is connected to nearby McLaren Vale by a cycle path that follows along the former railway line.

This small country town is rich in character and history. It is also home to range of events from the weekly/monthly markets, festivals and fairs, exhibitions and concerts. Some of the major evens include the international Tour Down Under, the Adelaide Classic Car Rally, Almond Blossom Festival and the Fleurieu Folk Festival.
