Jamestown - Cities, Towns and Localities
Surveyed in 1871 to service the surrounding northern highlands, the rural outback town of Jamestown is in the scenic Clare Valley region.

The township sits on the Belalie Creek, providing a great place for BBQ and picnic. Jamestown also provides a great base from which to explore Bundaleer Forest, located just south of the town.

Visitors can see the town murals on various buildings in and around Ayr Street. These murals create a visual history of the development of the town and the changes that have occurred.

Check out our listing of Jamestown accommodation. In addition to our listed online travel guide information, contact the local tourism visitor centre for your destination for more attractions, tours, local maps and other information.
