Mazeppa National Park - Cities, Towns and Localities
65 km northwest of Clermont lies Mazeppa a large park made up of mostly gidgee and brigalow scrub that provides a fabulous habitat for a large variety of native finches and other bird species. The Plum Headed Finch and the Double Bar Finch two rare species can be found here.

Camping is permitted but the park is mostly designated as a wildlife refuge. There is no permanent water in the park and vehicular access is not permitted. Camping permits must be obtained before going into the park.

Contact the local Parks and Wildlife Service or visit the QLD National parks, marine parks and forests website. In addition to our listed online travel guide information, contact the local tourism visitor centre for your destination for more attractions, tours, local maps and other information.
