Visitors to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park can arrive by air, tours and charters, or self-drive. For those who are extremely fit, you can even cycle, although you should ensure that you are prepared, with enough water, food, block-out and appropriate clothing. Whilst the route is fairly flat, it is approximately 465 km.
