This active and smallest of the red robins, with its crimson cap
and breast can often be seen darting from tree to ground to shrub to ground and
then to another vantage point. Perched on its vantage point, it will often give
quick little flicks of the tail and wings.
With its ticking cheery trill, it can be seen often fossicking
on the ground and amongst the litter, flushing out insects.
