Mogo - Cities, Towns and Localities

NSW Coastal sunset - courtesy Tourism New South Wales

Just over three hours from Sydney and ten kilometres south of Batemans Bay, is the unique village of Mogo with its 19th century traditional architecture and other tourist attractions including cottage industries and handcrafts. Mogo provides the perfect break from the beach or bush with its many shops that specialise in handcrafts and artwork. A visit to the Dimbaloo Gallery and Koori art workshop is also a must. Visit the Dimbaloo Art Gallery website.

Another attraction is the Mogo Zoo where many exotic species are housed, some as part of the world wide preservation program for endangered exotic animals. There is also an opportunity to fossick for gold at an operational goldmine near the town. Who knows, that big nuggets is still waiting.

Check out our listing of Mogo accommodation. In addition to our listed online travel guide information, contact the local tourism visitor centre for your destination for more attractions, tours, local maps and other information.
