June long weekend
 This 4 day exhibition in the Blue Mountains has evolved into the largest LGBT art event in Australia. Today, this premier gay and lesbian art exhibition continues to expand, and is open to GLBTQI artists from around Australia. The exhibition is held during and part of the Blue Mountains pinkFEST.
Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras
February through to the parade and party in early March
Now called Sydney Mardi Gras. An event that grew out of gay rights protest marches in the 1970's, and is now celebrated with a month long festival of the queer arts one of Australia's most eclectic and spectacular festivals run without any government funding.
Queer Screen
Mardi Gras Film Festival
Queer Screen is a not for profit arts organisation whose main aim is to celebrate and promote Australian and international queer screen culture in all its diversity and richness. To achieve this aim, Queer Screen produces an annual program of events during the year.

Sydney underwater Bushwalking Society (SUBS)
A non-profit making social diving and snorkelling club for gay men and lesbians and their friends in Sydney and beyond. The club was formed in 1993, and has grown to around 90 members. Membership is open to gay men and lesbians and their friends with a common interest in diving or snorkelling. We dive at least twice a month in and around Sydney, and include several trips per year to dive on the North and South Coasts. Our dive days include both shore and boat dives. Check out our dive calendar for a list of dives planned for the next month or so. The dive calendar indicates which dives are also suitable for snorkelling.
